I serramenti esterni rappresentano uno dei punti deboli dell’involucro edilizio.
Dalle vetrate fuoriesce nella stagione invernale la maggior parte del calore dell’abitazione. Per quantificare con dei numeri questo aspetto, basti pensare che la trasmittanza termica di una parete di una casa in legno si aggira intorno a 0,18 W/m² K, un valore di tutto rispetto, contro gli 1,1 W/m² di un serramento a basso consumo energetico.
La dispersione di un buon infisso è quindi di sei volte superiore a quanto ceduto per convenzione dagli elementi opachi dell’involucro edilizio (tetto e pareti esterne).
Il progettista dovrà pertanto disporre con accuratezza le aperture, limitando le fonometrie a nord, ove le finestre dovranno essere piccole, mentre a sud andranno le vetrate di maggiore dimensione (opportunamente calcolate per captare la radiazione solare, ma non sovradimensionate, per evitare il surriscaldamento estivo degli ambienti e l’inevitabile dispersione in assenza di sole (nuvole, nebbia, ore notturne).
La trasmittanza termica di un serramento esterno in legno non particolarmente isolato si aggira solitamente intorno a 2 W/m², un valore assolutamente non compatibile con il sofisticato fine energetico delle case prefabbricate. Un’ulteriore miglioramento può essere realizzato adottando dei vetrocamera a triplo strato, che possono spingere il valore dell’isolamento sino a 0,5-0,7 W/m². I costi non sono eccessivi ed è quindi un’opzione senza dubbio consigliabile per la maggior parte delle case in legno, soprattutto quelle montate nel nord Italia.
Quali sono i serramenti più indicati per le case prefabbricate?
In passato i serramenti erano per lo più in legno. Si tratta ancora di una buona soluzione, grazie alle buone proprietà isolanti di questo materiale. Sarà necessaria una regolare manutenzione degli infissi, poiché le vernici tendono a perdere le proprietà protettive a causa dell’azione degli agenti atmosferici.
Un’alternativa molto in voga ed altamente consigliabile per le case prefabbricate è il serramento in legno con la protezione esterna in alluminio. All’interno l’infisso in legno avrà un aspetto tradizionale, e non necessiterà più interventi di manutenzione nel tempo. L’alluminio potrà inoltre essere di qualsiasi colore si desideri, offrendo un’opzione in più per l’architettura dell’edificio.
Anche il pvc è un materiale molto utilizzato per la realizzazione di infissi isolati, con una buona durata nel tempo e costi generalmente inferiori al legno-alluminio.
Un buon serramento dovrebbe inoltre prevedere di serie l’apertura a vasistas su tutte le ante apribili ed un adeguato sistema di sicurezza. Un semplice punto di chiusura può pertanto essere insufficiente. Meglio tre per anta.
Verificate infine la possibilità di installare un sensore antifurto sugli infissi.
Ogni aspetto delle case prefabbricate deve essere adeguato all’insieme.
