CASE PREFABBRICATE DISPERDENTI
L’INVOLUCRO ISOLATO DELLE CASE PREFABBRICATE E’ GARANZIA DI BASSE DISPERSIONI TERMICHE E BOLLETTE ENERGETICHE CONTENUTE. LE VETRATE, PER QUANTO EFFICIENTI, RESTANO IL PUNTO DEBOLE DELL’EDIFICIO E PRINCIPALE CAUSA DI DISSIPAZIONI DEL CALORE.
Volevo sapere una sua opinione in merito alla costruzione delle “case prefabbricate” o meglio sul suo orientamento, in quanto io possiedo un terreno con giardino rivolto a nord sul quale vorrei fare affacciare delle belle vetrate, ma le case costruttrici non mi assicurano che vada a risparmiare in termini di spesa per quanto riguarda il riscaldamento e la refrigerazione estiva.
La progettazione di un edificio (qualsiasi edificio e non solo la nostra abitazione in legno) deve basarsi su una serie di elementi che ne determineranno l’architettura.
I principi bioclimatici sono solo uno di questi fattori, ma non necessariamente il più importante. Molto dipende dall’impostazione specifica che si intende dare al progetto.
Faccio un esempio banale. Se a nord posso godere di una veduta mozzafiato sulle montagne, mentre a sud mi affaccerò sulla zona industriale, ritengo che si tratti di un punto di una certa importanza, certamente prioritario rispetto all’orientamento solare.
Sta alla capacità del progettista coniugare con sapienza i vari elementi, disponendo opportunamente i locali, cercando di minimizzare le dispersioni termiche e valorizzando l’inserimento nel contesto.
A volte penso alla progettazione come all’ideazione di una ricetta di cucina (qualche mio collega potrebbe inorridire), in cui l’arte del combinare i diversi ingredienti a disposizione può portare a risultati qualitativamente assai diversi. La parola chiave è “equilibrio”. Poco o troppo sale in un piatto possono spostare di molto il nostro giudizio con il cibo, così come in un buon progetto non dovrebbe prevalere l’ingrediente bioclimatico a scapito di altri elementi, ma è necessaria una coerenza generale rispetto alle aspettative del cliente (costruttive, formali e funzionali), i vincoli urbani ed edilizi (legati alla forma del lotto, i regolamenti edilizi, le tipologie locali).
Cosa centra tutto ciò con il titolo dell’articolo? Un lungo e necessario preambolo per rassicurare il lettore rispetto a quanto affermato dalla ditta di case prefabbricate.
La sua casa non è una “macchina termica”. Può esserlo, se questa è la sua esigenza.
Penalizzare l’abitabilità per aumentare il “guadagno solare” è sensato solo se ne siamo davvero convinti. Le vetrate a nord disperdono calore? Verissimo! Installi dei tripli vetri. Esistono sul mercato dei serramenti a basso consumo delle finestre che possono garantire una trasmittanza di 0,5 W/m²K. Tale modifica comporta un extra costo assolutamente giustificabile, che può tradursi in un buon investimento negli anni, con un sensibile risparmio sulla bolletta energetica.
Andando oltre, il problema, semmai, è legato alla “progettazione inconsapevole”.
Mi capita spesso di confrontarmi con progetti di abitazioni altamente disperdenti, le cui scelte compositive appaiono evidentemente frutto dell’ideazione estemporanea, senza regole o principi di fondo. Non intendo assolutamente darne un giudizio formale, ma se scelgo di movimentare l’involucro con rientri, sporgenze, muri obliqui, logge, sporgenze, sfasamenti, tetti con incastri, abbaini, terrazze, dovrebbe esserci una ragione.
L’involucro semplice è la forma meno disperdente per un edificio.
Se scelgo consciamente di allontanarmene per valide ragioni, non si tratta necessariamente un errore progettuale. Se però lo faccio senza alcun motivo (mi piaceva una casa un po’ movimentata ….. ho detto al mio geometra che non sopporto le case prefabbricate troppo semplici), rendo prioritario l’aspetto formale rispetto ad altri fattori, senza valutare possibili opzioni, altrettanto efficaci nel movimentare la sagoma (porticati, pergolati, bovindi) ed in grado di svolgere un efficace azione di protezione solare nella stagione estiva.
Le case prefabbricate dovrebbero essere progettate sin dall’inizio come edifici in legno a basso consumo e non come adattamento finale (il mio tecnico me l’ha sconsigliato) di progetti ideati per il laterocemento.
